PESHAWAR: All preparations have been completed ahead of schedule for Jamaat-e-Islami’s ‘Gaza Million March,’ scheduled to take place Sunday, announced a spokesman of the JI at the march site.
The march, led and addressed by Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rahman, will be held at Kabutar Chowk Ring Road, with provincial leaders of the party also in attendance.
Scheduled to commence at 6:00 p.m., the ‘Gaza Million March’ will witness the participation of workers in convoys of vehicles.
Emphasizing the significance of the event, the JI spokesperson highlighted that this march will be the largest of its kind in the history of the province.
The spokesperson reiterated that the issue of Gaza is not just a concern for the Muslim Ummah but for all of humanity. It is imperative for everyone to exert pressure on global powers to halt Israeli aggression.
