ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Jamal Shah on Sunday departed for Qatar to participate in the twelfth Conference of the Culture Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) being held from 25 to 26 September in Doha, Qatar.
The Minister of Culture of the State of Qatar and the Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization of OIC have jointly invited Jamal Shah to the event.
He will represent Pakistan at the conference which will be focusing on cultural matters with a view to enhancing joint cultural action in the fields of cultural planning and development indicators as well as addressing the illicit trafficking of cultural property etc.
