ISLAMABAD: A meeting of the Asian Parliamentarians Forum on Population and Development held in Pakistan’s capital with the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) issued the Islamabad Declaration on Thursday.
As part of this declaration, the Japanese Minister of State committed to funding three climate change-related projects in Pakistan. Furthermore, the Minister pledged to assist Pakistan in securing financial support from the World Bank to address climate change-related disasters.
The Forum also expressed its readiness to offer Pakistan a seat on its Executive Council. This gesture reflects SIFC’s ongoing efforts to enhance Pakistan’s global profile.
