Jeddah International Motor Show Concludes Amidst Competition Among Key International Brands

JEDDAH: The Jeddah International Motor Show 2024 concluded its activities on Saturday, having launched with the support of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF), according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The SPA reported, held at the Jeddah Superdome, the mega event showcased a competition among major international companies and brands to present the latest models, cutting-edge technological innovations, as well as advanced designs in the automotive world.

According to the SPA, interactive shows offered visitors a live viewing experience, highlighting car design details as well as performance under real-world conditions. Additionally, activities for various age groups also attracted thousands of visitors on the exhibition’s five-day duration, the SPA added.

The exhibition also featured the unveiling of new models as well as advanced technologies, including vehicles showcased for the first time in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

The SPA reported that it has also provided a comprehensive entertainment experience that combined innovation and fun, featuring exciting activities such as off-road demonstrations, go-kart races, drift shows, and electronic simulation competitions, along with special activities and contests for children.

According to the SPA, through interactive exhibitions, the mega event also highlighted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) direction toward a sustainable transportation future, aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 for economic diversification as well as localizing the automotive industry.

The SPA further reported that this includes the advancement of electric cars and sustainable technologies, reflecting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) resolve to adopting environmentally friendly transportation solutions.
