JEDDAH: Jeddah Maritime Rescue Coordination Center (JMRCC) of Saudi Arabia’s Border Guards has successfully rescued a French national whose boat stuck along coral reefs near Sudan’s Marsa Oseif, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.
The SPA reported, the JMRCC in coordination with Sudanese surveillance authorities promptly responded to the distress signal given by the French surveillance and rescue center and the relevant agency in Sudan.
Efforts are underway to tow the boat to Marsa Oseif for repairs and address the malfunction.
