WASHINGTON: US President Joe Biden was seen spending quality family time on Saturday at a beach near his Delaware home, accompanied by his wife Jill Biden and granddaughter Finnegan.
The Secret Service maintained a vigilant security presence, monitoring the beachgoers while the Biden family relaxed and strolled along the beach. Notably, Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was not present during this leisure trip.
President Biden and the First Lady purchased their beachfront home in 2017 for $2.7 million. The 80-year-old president’s beach visit follows recent incidents involving the discovery of cocaine at the White House and a scandal related to Hunter Biden.
When President Biden acquired the property, he expressed that it was the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. He mentioned that he and Jill had always aspired to have a beachfront home where they could gather with their entire family.
Cocaine at White House and Joe Biden’s Involvement
Regarding the discovery of the substance at the White House, Anthony Guglielmi, a spokesman for the Secret Service, stated that further testing is being conducted to determine its exact nature. Investigators are actively looking into how it entered the White House, while the DC Fire Department has assessed the substance’s safety.
Guglielmi clarified that President Biden was not in the White House at the time of the discovery. The investigation is ongoing to determine the cause and manner of the substance’s entry.
While Guglielmi did not provide specific details about the substance’s location within the White House, he confirmed that members of the Secret Service’s Uniformed Division discovered it during their routine rounds.
Senator Ted Cruz accused the White House of a “cover-up,” calling it “astonishing.” He speculated that the responsible party was likely a senior Biden official rather than Hunter Biden himself, highlighting the need to uncover the truth.
