Pakistanis Observe Jumma tul Wida with Religious Reverence

ISLAMABAD: Jumma tul Wida, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, is being observed today across the country with religious zeal and reverence.

The day holds great significance and marks an important occasion for the followers of Islam.

Muslims regard this Friday as one of the holiest days in the calendar and spend a lot of time praying, reciting the Holy Quran, and seeking forgiveness from the Almighty.

In the federal capital Islamabad, the biggest gathering of Juma tul Wida was held at the Faisal Mosque.

Millions of people also gathered at mosques for Friday prayers in other cities across the country and offered special prayers for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan and the unity of the Muslim Ummah.

Religious scholars and Imams highlighted the importance of the month of fasting and the significance of its last Friday.
