LOS ANGELES: Hailey Bieber has fuelled fresh speculation about trouble in her marriage to Justin Bieber after she was spotted dining out without her husband—and notably kept her hand hidden in her jeans pocket, sparking talk over her missing engagement ring.
On the evening of Thursday, 3 March, the 28-year-old model and founder of Rhode Skin was seen leaving Sushi Park in West Hollywood with longtime friends Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, and influencer Anastasia Karanikolaou, also known as Stassie Baby.
However, Hailey’s solo appearance—without the 31-year-old pop singer—and her peculiar effort to conceal her hand caught widespread attention.
Photos from the evening showed Hailey clutching a black purse while tucking her other hand inside the tight front pocket of her blue jeans, leading observers to question whether she had removed her diamond ring from the Sorry singer.
The awkward positioning of her hand, visibly strained against the fitted denim, only added to the intrigue.
The sighting comes amid persistent rumours of marital tension between the pair.
A source, cited by DailyMail.com, said that Hailey has “been struggling with Justin almost since the start of the marriage” and that some of her close friends have advised her to “go it alone.”
“She loves him madly but he’s a loose cannon,” the insider said. “His behaviour is sometimes unacceptable. She’s put up with a lot.”
Concerns have also grown over Justin’s physical and mental health in recent weeks. The Baby hitmaker has appeared noticeably thinner in public sightings and posted cryptic messages to Instagram hinting at emotional struggles.
In one story, he wrote: “I think I hate myself sometimes when I feel myself start to become inauthentic.” In another, he confessed to feeling “like a fraud” and “unworthy.”
He also sparked alarm with a video showing him smoking from a bong, although a representative for the singer told TMZ last month that “the recurring narrative that Justin is using hard drugs is absolutely not true.”
