ISLAMABAD: President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi on Sunday approved the appointment of Muhammad Kamran Khan Tasoori as the new Governor of Sindh province.
The president made the approval in accordance with article 101 sub-clause of the constitution. Kamran Tessori is Deputy Convener of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).
The post had been vacant after the resignation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Imran Ismail. The designation has been vacant since the resignation of last Governor Sindh Imran Ismail.
