Karachi Food Festival Attracts Food Lovers

ISLAMABAD: Karachi’s premium food event is underway at Clifton’s Beach View Park with 125 food partners this year, attracting families, friends, and couples to eat their favorite dishes.  

The ticket rate has been raised from 400 to 600 rupees this time, and visitors can buy it online or at on-the-spot counters.

As covid-19 has nearly vanished, no proof of Covid vaccination is required now.

Stag entry into the festival is banned. An ambulance and mobile clinic are present to tackle emergencies while visitors can use the ATM facility also on the premises.

Desi foods

The festival is featuring numerous desi, Mexican, Arabian, and some other unique dishes for food lovers. 

The beef and chapli kabab are served with green chutney and naan.

The traditional Memon thali of Khao Dosa, with Dosa and Khao Suey is attracting desi food enthusiasts.

The smoking Matka Chai of Mumbai Wala and traditional Mumbai Pav Bhaji are also getting the people’s attention.

At the event, the Punjabi Dhaba is serving mouth-watering Saag Paneer, Gol Gappe, and Tea. Another desi stall Lahori Tawa by Arif Chatkhara is full of roasted chickens with naan, desi spices, and raita.

Buildburger is serving fast foods like Pizza Nation and Buildermash.

Middle Eastern foods

In Middle Eastern foods, Yalla Shwarama with a classic and spicy variant, and Arabi’s shwarma, Knafeh and madbee are also delicious.

The Mexican foods stall is serving Pulled Chicken Tacos, Guava juice, and Pulled Beef Tacos.
