ISLAMABAD: The 5th of Februay 2025 has been declared a public holiday in Pakistan on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day.
A press release issued by Pakistan’s Cabinet Secretariat dated 4th February 2025, stated: As notified vide Cabinet Division’s circular No 10-01/2024-Min-II dated 23rd December 2024, Wednesday the 5th of February 2025 shall be a public holiday throughout the country on the occasion of “Kashmir Solidarity Day”. A one-minute silence shall be observed at 1000 hours across the country in honour of Kashmiri martyrs.
