Raja Niaz, the Assistant Director of Small Industries Azad Jammu and Kashmir, while speaking to WE News, stated that their organization’s core mission is to champion our local culture.
He said that the aim of organizing a handicrafts stall in connection with Kashmir Solidarity Day was to highlight the Kashmir cause through a cultural lens while also standing in solidarity with the innocent Kashmiri people as they strive for their right to self-determination in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
He said that the central to our stall is the vibrant showcases of Kashmiri artisans at work, alongside an array of folk crafts and handicrafts that encapsulate the essence of Kashmiri tradition. Among these treasures, Kashmiri folk paintings and a captivating photo exhibition serve to amplify the voices advocating for the Kashmir cause and celebrate the rich tapestry of Kashmiri culture.
It is pertinent to mention here that the people of Pakistan and the Kashmiri Diaspora are observing Kashmir Solidarity Day in support of the Kashmiri people in their struggle for the right to self-determination and against Indian atrocities in IIOJK.
