ISLAMABAD/ BIRMINGHAM: Tehreek-e-Kashmir (TK) United Kingdom (UK) leader Fahim Kayani has said that the World Economic Forum (WEF) must stop India’s Yogi Adityanath from attending the Davos conference as allowing his participation would be tantamount to legitimizing his “terror” regime.

Kashmiri diaspora leader said that “India pushing Ajay Singh Bisht aka Yogi Adityanath to the global stage through the Davos gathering of the World Economic Forum so as to cover his crimes against humanity that his regime has inflicted on Muslims and other minorities in Uttar Pradesh province,”.

Reminder to WEF management

Reminding the WEF management of a violent administration that Chief Minister (CM) of Uttar Pradesh Adityanath presides over India’s most populated province, Kayani urged a forum to cancel forthwith any delegation, including the Indian politician.

Kayani said that “There can be no double standards on human rights,” reminding the WEF of similar cases where the global community has expressed displeasure.

The Tehreek-e-Kashmir leader while counting the crimes against humanity committed by the Adityanath administration in the UP said, “Yogi has been directly involved in extrajudicial killings of up to 4,500 Indian Muslim dissidents since 2019, abuse of draconian Unlawful Activities Act and National Security Act, illegally used discriminatory legislations, including Citizenship Amendment Act and anti-conversion laws, and policy discriminating against the livelihoods of Muslims and other minorities.” UP is home to India’s largest Muslim population at around 44 million.
