According to a source close to the couple, Kate is “incredibly worried” about how the show’s narrative might affect her, especially given her ongoing health issues. “The synopsis of the show mirrors Meghan and Harry’s story while hiding behind the guise of a fictional drama, and Kate is incredibly worried about potential storylines,” the source told Closer Magazine.
The source said that the Princess of Wales feels particularly vulnerable as she undergoes her cancer treatment and is concerned that the series might introduce stressors she feels ill-equipped to handle at this time. The show’s production deal with Universal has intensified the couple’s apprehension, leading to a “fresh wave of panic and dread” about possible bombshells and implications.
