LONDON: Kate Middleton has appeared to pay a rich tribute to Princess Diana by wearing a costume in the same color the People’s Princess once wore to Wimbledon.
For the unversed, Catherine made head-turning attendance at the 2024 Wimbledon men’s singles final match alongside her daughter Charlotte. Especially, Princess Kate wore a stunning purple midi outfit for final.
Similarly, about three decades’ prior, Princess Diana also wore a costume of the same color and attended a tennis encounter with Prince William.
Soon after Kate’s images became popular on different platforms of social media, royal fans rapidly made comparisons between the two.
Amusingly, it was also reported earlier that William has been guiding Kate to follow in his late mother’s footprints.
In talks with Closer Magazine, former royal butler Paul Burrell said that the Prince of Wales is “steering Kate into Diana’s footprints.”
