LONDON: Princess of Wales Kate Middleton is reportedly ‘very excited about the future’ after the future queen confirmed she has completed chemotherapy treatment.

While quoting a family friend, the OK! Magazine reported that Kate now feels relieved. “She [Kate Middleton] feels a cloud has been lifted and she’s very excited about the future,” the magazine quoted a family friend.

The Princess of Wales loves reconnecting with the community and representing her family, “but she’s also trying to find a balance between her duties and personal well-being.”

The insider said, “She appreciates the sense of purpose but wants to ensure her stress levels don’t get too high.”

“Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes,” Kate, 42, said in her remission announcement.

Royal expert Richard Hardman, as quoted by OK! Magazine, also claimed, “Kate is certainly conscious that she mustn’t overstress herself.”

Another royal expert Christopher Andersen said, “Kate has a lot more energy than she did even a few weeks ago. She’s tremendously relieved that the treatments seem to have worked and she can now call herself cancer-free, but she’s not taking anything for granted. She’s following the doctor’s orders. It’s baby steps.”

Kate Middleton confirmed in September that she has finally “completed my chemotherapy treatment”.

“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”

She further said, “The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.”

Husband Prince William, 42, is beyond joyous that his beloved wife is finally on the path to a complete recovery after the last few months of uncertainty and turmoil.

“The prince is pleased to see the princess starting to engage with the work and projects that are important to her,” a Kensington Palace spokesperson said.

“He will continue to focus his time on supporting his wife and children while continuing to undertake his public duties.” But it will be slow going. Kate’s new schedule will be based on how she feels on a day-to-day basis.

The members of the Royal family are set to reunite for this year’s Christmas with King Charles and Kate Middleton after going through a challenging year.

According to an expert, the Royal family is excited to mark the festive season together following a year marred by major health scares.

Both the King and the Princess of Wales were diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. While Kate has completed her preventative chemotherapy, Charles is still in the recovery phase.

In a conversation with OK! Magazine, Bond said that Charles and Kate’s cancer diagnosis were a “huge shock” to the family, but now the festive season will be a time for relief and gratitude.

“The cancer diagnosis came as a huge shock to the family, and cast a pall over everything this year,” Bond told the publication.
