ASTANA: Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has lauded the agreement reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan to hold dialogue in Almaty. He expressed these remarks in a statement on Wednesday. He welcomed the agreement between the two sides to hold talks of foreign ministers on the preparation of a peace treaty between the two sides at the proposal of the Kazakh side.
Earlier, the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev during his trip to Yerevan offered a platform for talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Besides, on April 30, the official representative of the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs Aybek Smadiyarov said that Armenia and Azerbaijan confirmed their participation in the talks in Almaty.
