Kazakhstan Expends Oil Export Routes in 2023

ASTANA: Chairman of the Board of KazMunayGas JSC (Kazakhstan’s national oil and gas company) Magzum Mirzagaliyev has said that Kazakhstan has increased oil export routes in 2023. He made the statement during a meeting with Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

He said supplies of oil to Germany and in the direction of Azerbaijan through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline started in 2023, and the tanker fleet has been expanded jointly with partners from the United Arab Emirates.  He said that KazMunayGas has achieved growth compared to last year.

At the end of the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev gave a number of directions on the execution of investment projects, maintaining the stability of hydrocarbon export routes, and expanding the scope of geological exploration work, local media reported.
