ASTANA: Kazakhstan plans to export wheat to Pakistan and Afghanistan through the Beineu grain terminal, local media reported on. According to local media reports, the plan involves constructing additional storage facilities in border areas and establishing logistics routes through Turkmenistan. The government officials said that the parties aim to finalize the details for creating a new export route for Kazakh grain.

The Beineu terminal, spanning 26 hectares, is located in the Mangistau region and has direct access to the Kazakh-Turkmen border.  Last week, delegations from Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, along with Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin, visited the terminal.
