ASTANA: Kazakhstan to provide support to Kyrgyzstan by increasing the volume of power supplies from the Jambyl power plant due to the accident at the combined heat and power plant of Bishkek on February 2, local media reported.
This was stated by Kazakhstan Minister of Foreign Affairs Murat Nurtleu during a telephone talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jantoro Kulubaev.
A statement issued by Kazakhstan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Minister Nurtleu announced the readiness of the Kazakh side, in case of need, to send humanitarian aid to the Kyrgyz side in connection with the accident at the Bishkek power plant.

It added that the two sides also discussed steps to restore the operation of the Bishkek power plant. This talk was conducted within the framework of bilateral cooperation to coordinate help in resolving the situation around the accident at the heat center.
Kyrgyz Foreign Minister also briefed on the steps taken to restore the operation of the CHPP and expressed gratitude for the support provided by Kazakhstan in increasing power supplies from the Jambyl power plant, the statement further said.
