ASTANA: Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is going to visit to Armenia on Monday, local media reported on Saturday.
According to local media reports, the President of Kazakhstan is scheduled to hold meetings with President Vahagn Khachaturyan and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. After this visit, President Tokayev will depart for the flood-hit areas of Kazakhstan.
As per local media reports, during his visit to Armenia, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will discuss bilateral talks and matters of mutual interest during his talks with the leadership of Armenia.
Earlier, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said that Kazakhstan is interested in the conclusion of a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia. In an interview with the “Azerbaijan” newspaper, the President expressed his nation’s eagerness to facilitate the swift conclusion of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
