LAWRENCEVILLE, Georgia: One of the most ethnically diverse counties in the Southeastern US will be among those issuing early voting results Tuesday night, a disclosure that could show which of the presidential candidates is in the lead in the crucial count of 538 electoral votes.
The winner must receive 270 of those electoral votes, and Georgia, seen as one of the seven states where the result is uncertain, has sixteen of those precious votes. Only Pennsylvania has more — 19 — among the battlefield states. North Carolina also has sixteen. The other wild cards are Arizona (11), Nevada (6), Michigan (15), and Wisconsin (10).
