KHAN YUNIS: Over 180,000 Gazans have fled fierce war around the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunis in four days, the United Nations confirmed Friday, following an Israeli operation to extract hostages’ bodies from the region.

The UN humanitarian agency, OCHA said that the current “intensified hostilities” in the Khan Yunis have fueled fresh waves of internal displacement across Gaza. It added that about 182,000 people have been displaced from the between Monday and Thursday, and hundreds are still stranded in the area.
