Khan’s Sister Uzma Khan Booked in Another Land Fraud Case

LAHORE: Uzma Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan finds herself embroiled in a legal entanglement as the Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Faisalabad has registered another case against her on the allegations of fraudulently transferring valuable land in Jhang’s Athara Hazari subdivision.

The FIR accuses Uzma Khan of acquiring 300 kanals of land by employing fraudulent means.

Local media quoted sources within the anti-corruption agency, saying Uzma Khan purportedly obtained ownership of land in Chak No. 7/2 Thal South and Chak No. 11/2 Thal South in Attara Hazari of Jhang by employing fraudulent means and forgery.

The other accused include Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar, Patwari, and Land Record Center staff, according to the First Information Report (FIR).

Prompt action by the ACE has already led to the arrest of the Naib Tehsildar and Patwari allegedly involved in the case.
