ISLAMABAD: Khawaja Junaid Hockey Academy is rewriting the narrative for aspiring young athletes in Pakistan. Recognizing their potential during a talent hunt camp at the National Hockey Stadium, the academy provided them with the platform to excel in both sports and education. With full tuition fee waivers and comfortable lodging at Aitchison College, these young athletes have been given a chance to pursue their dreams against all odds.
Founded in 2015, the academy has grown from strength to strength, now catering to over 300 boys and 60 girls aged 3 to 18 years. Under the guidance of qualified coaches like Junaid Chattha and former hockey legend Mohibullah, these budding players receive comprehensive training aimed at elevating their skills to the next level. Despite financial constraints, the academy continues to thrive, thanks to the support of sponsors and dedicated volunteers.
