Significance of Eid Al-Adha in Islamic Faith
The annual Eid Al-Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, holds deep significance in the Islamic faith. It commemorates the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to ALLAH, who ultimately provided a lamb as a substitute. Muslims around the world celebrate this occasion by performing prayers, distributing meat to the needy, and engaging in acts of charity and goodwill.
King Salman’s warm Eid greetings and his message of unity serve as a reminder of the values upheld during the Hajj pilgrimage and the essence of the festival, which encourages compassion, solidarity, and the pursuit of shared goals.
