Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: Model Farm Enters Guinness World Records

ABHA: Agricultural advancements have led to the development of a world record-breaking farm in Wadi Bin Hashbal, associated with the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in the Asir region. The farm covers a remarkable area of more than three million square meters and is recognized by the Guinness World Records as the largest form worldwide.

The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) team has recently visited the farm and reported about its diverse crops, which include 8 different seasonal fruit trees, 400 almond trees and 1,000 Sidr trees.

The farm also has about 50 guide fields where the best agricultural practices are being applied, as well as latest irrigation techniques.

Director-General of the Ministry of Environment and Water branch in Asir Ahmed Bin Mohammed Al Mujthal said that the farm is a sustainable research project. He added that the farm has over 14,000 trees.

He further said that the farm has 5 protected and air-conditioned farms that are used for the purpose of research.
