RIYADH: In keeping with tradition, the lower part of the Kiswa of the holy Kaaba in Makkah has been raised, the Arab media reported on Saturday.
The same process is repeated annually before Hajj to protect the Kiswa, as some Hajj pilgrims touch it when circling the holy Kaaba. President of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais was also present on the occasion, Arab news reported.
