ISLAMABAD: The Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) has submitted a tariff petition to the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority, seeking an increase in electricity prices.

Hike in electricity prices

It would recover PKR 16 billion in the wake of Pesco employees’ salaries and perks, while PKR 9 billion will be recovered after the post-retirement benefits.

PESCO would also recover PKR 390 million for travel allowance for the Pesco employees and PKR 280 million for repairing vehicles.
