PESHAWAR: Governor of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, has sent letters of condemnation to the ambassadors of 12 countries regarding the recent attack on a convoy of foreign dignitaries in Swat.
In the letters, issued on Wednesday, he expressed, “I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to address the tragic incident in Swat involving a convoy carrying foreign dignitaries. This attack, which resulted in injuries and loss of life, has deeply shocked and saddened our community.”
He assured the ambassadors that the government is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the attack and is committed to bringing those responsible to justice. “We understand the importance of safeguarding foreign visitors and are reinforcing our security measures to prevent such incidents in the future,” he stated.
Dr. Kundi conveyed his relief that the ambassadors, as state guests, remained safe during this incident. “Your protection and safety are our top priorities, and we are dedicated to ensuring a secure environment for you and all foreign visitors.”

He acknowledged that such incidents can raise concerns, assuring that immediate and robust measures are being taken to enhance security across the region.
Furthermore, he extended an invitation for the ambassadors to visit the Governor’s House in Peshawar at their convenience. He expressed his belief that this visit would showcase the province’s beauty, hospitality, and commitment to peace.
