KP Govt Approves Rs200m for Flood Relief in Sindh, Balochistan

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cabinet has approved provision of two hundred million rupees to the flood affectees of Sindh and Balochistan provinces.

Briefing the media persons about the Cabinet decisions met in Peshawar on Tuesday with Chief Minister Mahmood Khan in the chair, Minister of Finance Taimur Saleem Jhagra said funds collected from the public for the flood victims will be distributed among the affectees transparently.

Taimur Saleem Jhagra said drastic reforms have been made in the economic sector of the province to ensure transparency in all financial transactions.

Speaking on the occasion, Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif the government has so far received more than one billion rupees for flood victims in the Bank of Khyber.
