KSA Participates in Preparations for Arab-Russian Forum: SPA

CAIRO: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Ambassador Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Matar, attended Thursday in the second Arab Coordination Meeting at Delegate Level at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo, Egypt to prepare for the sixth Arab-Russian Cooperation Forum meeting at the foreign-minister level scheduled for next Wednesday in Marrakesh, Morocco, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

According to the SPA, the meeting was held under the joint chairmanship of the acting permanent representative of Morocco to the Arab League, Minister Plenipotentiary Hicham Ould Sallay; Russian envoy to Egypt Georgy Borisenko; and the Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the International Political Affairs Sector at the Arab League, Dr. Khaled Manzalawi. The session was also attended by the permanent delegates to the Arab League, the SPA reported.

Dr. Khaled Manzalawi explained that this session comes following a consultation between rotating Arab League president Morocco and the league’s General Secretariat to discuss arrangements for conducting the Arab-Russian Cooperation Forum at the ministerial level, as well as to agree on the final versions of the draft documents of the “final statement “and the “action plan to executive the principles and objectives of the Arab-Russian Cooperation Forum during 2024-2026”, the SPA further said.
