KSA: Presidency to Further Empower Women Serving at Two Holy Mosques

MAKKAH, Saudi Arabia: The Directorate of Religious Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque said it is preparing a comprehensive strategy to allow women to serve visitors to the Two Holy Mosques in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

The aim of the plan is to improve the experience of female Umrah pilgrims and performers and to spread the message of Islamic tolerance around the world.

Chairman of the Board Abdulrahman Al-Sudais said that empowering women is a religious and social responsibility, adding that the organization wants to highlight the role of women in serving the Two Holy Mosques and its visitors.

Al-Sudais praised the achievements of Saudi women during the era of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
