According to the Saudi Press Agency, the planes left for Rzeszow Airport in Poland, close to the Ukrainian border. The cargo consists of electric generators, shelter materials, and medical supplies, which will be provided across Poland’s border into Ukraine.
Last week, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia inked, in coordination with the government of Poland and the United Nations organizations, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to provide an additional package of humanitarian help to Kyiv worth $400 million.
Earlier, Riyadh provided urgent relief and medical aid worth $10 million for refugees fleeing war-hit Ukraine to neighboring countries, including Poland.
