KSA to Host 2025 Meeting of Global Research Council Governing Board: SPA

RIYADH: Governing Board of the Global Research Council’s Governing Board has approved organizing its 2025 annual meeting with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) as the main host in Riyadh and Türkiye as a host partner, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s hosting of the Global Research Council meeting will be the first in the Middle East and North Africa since the formation of the council in 2012, reflecting the pioneering status of Saudi Arabia in research, innovation, and development at the regional and international levels in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 and under the support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the SPA maintained.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s bid to host the meeting was distinguished by the topics it contained that are in line with the international research trends and subjects and with the Saudi Vision 2030, the SPA reported.
