Al-Dhale, Yemen: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continued to implement the 5th phase of the project to operate the dialysis centre in Al-Dhale Governorate during the period from March 7, 2023, to March 8, 2025.
The project encompasses various activities, such as procuring medications and dialysis supplies for individuals with kidney failure in Al-Dhale Governorate, as well as outfitting the dialysis centre with 18 devices.
Furthermore, the project involves the preparation of medical equipment and laboratory materials, along with the installation of an additional desalination plant to ensure the provision of safe and high-quality medical services. To enhance patient care, the project will engage a specialized nephrology consultant to oversee and closely monitor the treatment of cases, thereby easing the suffering of patients and their families. As a thoughtful touch, snacks will be distributed to patients following their washing sessions.
This endeavour aims to benefit 64 patients with kidney failure from Al-Dhale Governorate and neighbouring regions. It is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s relief projects facilitated through KSrelief, demonstrating its commitment to aiding the sick and injured among the Yemeni people, and alleviating their suffering amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis. —APP/SPA
