ADEN: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s (KSrelief) Masam Project, has cleared 636 mines in various regions of Yemen during the fifth week of October, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
Under the project 4 anti-personnel mines, 36 anti-tank mines, and 596 unexploded ordnance items were successfully dismantled.
Since the project started, a total of 468,670 mines have been cleared. Saudi Arabia remains committed to clearing all mines from Yemeni territory, as these explosives pose a major risk of loss of life and injury to innocent people.
