RIYADH: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has continued its humanitarian work in Yemen, Syria and Pakistan, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.
The centre distributed 2,459 cartons of dates to displaced people in the Al Wadi District, of Marib Governorate in Yemen. The aid, benefiting 14,754 individuals, is part of the dates distribution project in Yemen this year.
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has also distributed 100 winter bags in the Thamud District of Yemen’s Hadhramaut Governorate. The bags, benefiting 600 individuals from 100 vulnerable families, are part of the emergency shelter project in Yemen.

The distribution reflects Saudi Arabia’s support for vulnerable communities in Yemen.
In Syria, the center distributed 750 food baskets and 750 hygiene kits in Al-Hasakah. The aid, benefiting 4,500 people, is part of the second phase of a project to distribute food and hygiene assistance to earthquake-affected populations in northern Syria.
Meanwhile, KSrelief has distributed 1,500 shelter bags in the Kohistan and Karak districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan. The aid, benefiting 10,500 vulnerable individuals in flood-affected areas, is part of the fourth phase of KSrelief’s 2024 project to provide shelter materials and winter bags in Pakistan.
These initiatives demonstrate the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian efforts, carried out through KSrelief, to end suffering worldwide. – SPA
