GEDAREF STATE: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) recently distributed 1,500 food baskets to 7,621 individuals in Al Galabat Al Gharbyah, Gedaref State, Sudan, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
This initiative is part of the second phase of a project aimed at bolstering food security in Sudan for 2024, in line with Saudi Arabia’s efforts to enhance food security and alleviate the hardships faced by the Sudanese population.
Earlier on October 5, KSrelief had distributed 1,000 food baskets to the displaced families in the Berber and Abidiya localities in the River Nile State of the Republic of Sudan, benefiting 5,850 individuals, SPA reported.
This comes within the framework of the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to alleviate the suffering of the Sudanese people as a result of their humanitarian crisis.
