KSrelief Distributes 9,400 Food Packages in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has distributed 9,400 essential food packages to flood victims in Pakistan’s Sindh and Punjab provinces.

KSrelief in a statement on Thursday said the items were distributed in Dadu and Sujhawal areas of Sindh and Bahawalnagar and Muzaffargarh areas of Punjab in collaboration with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).

Overall, the initiative would bring much-needed relief to 65,800 people across Pakistan through the distribution of 9,400 food packages.

Every package is thoughtfully designed to provide basic sustenance, weighing a total of 95 kgs and containing 80kg of flour, 5 liters of cooking oil, 5kg of sugar, and 5kg of lentils.

These provisions are carefully designed to support a family’s nutritional needs for the whole month.
