RIYADH: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) remains committed to its humanitarian efforts, extending support to those in need through medical services and food assistance campaigns in Africa and Lebanon.

In Somalia, KSrelief executed the Saudi Noor Voluntary Project, dedicated to combating blindness and related diseases. A team of medical professionals conducted examinations for 1,340 patients, performed 180 surgeries, and distributed essential medical glasses. Additionally, the agency distributed 500 food packages, providing relief to approximately 3,000 individuals in Somalia.

Lebanon continues to receive support from KSrelief as well. The ambulance service of the Subul Al-Salam association, funded and overseen by KSrelief, is actively providing crucial services in the Miniyeh district and northern Lebanon. Over the past week, the ambulance service carried out a total of 63 missions, contributing to emergency healthcare in the region.
