ADEN: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has successfully dismantled 895 mines during the first week of November in Yemen, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.
Under the Masam Project, of the Saudi aid agency two anti-personnel mines, 26 anti-tank mines, 865 unexploded ordnance items, and two explosive devices were dismantled.
Since the project’s inception, a total of 468,962 mines have been cleared. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia remains committed to removing all mines from the territory of Yemen, as these explosives pose a significant risk of loss of life and injury to innocent people.
