KSrelief Implements Noor Volunteer Program to Fight Blindness in Afghanistan

KABUL: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) conducted the Noor Saudi Volunteer Program in Afghanistan’s Kabul, between May 22 and 28, with the cooperation of Albasar International Foundation, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.

As part of the medical program, KSrelief’s volunteer medical team examined 4,500 cases, distributed 1,008 pairs of eyeglasses, administered medication to 5,600 patients, and conducted 408 successful eye surgeries.

The program is part of the Kingdom’s ongoing humanitarian and relief projects, implemented through KSrelief, to help the medical sector and assist limited-income individuals with eye diseases in various nations.
