KSrelief Launches 7 Water, Environmental Projects in Marib

MARIB: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched seven water and environmental sanitation projects in Al-Madina and Harib Directorates of Marib, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.

The projects completed in collaboration with the UN Children’s Agency (UNICEF) would benefit 145,000 individuals of the displaced and host community.

KSA’s Relief Efforts in Marib Applauded

Dr. Abdrabbo Muftah, the Undersecretary of Marib Governorate, observed the pace of work at the project of the 18-meter-long water tower with a storing capacity of 270 cubic meters in the governorate.

He lauded the humanitarian efforts made by Saudi Arabia through KSrelief in helping the displaced and needy families in Marib.

He highlighted the importance of these projects in ending the suffering of those in need in Yemen.

The projects are an extension of Saudi efforts, represented by KSrelief, to help infrastructure projects in the field of water and environmental sanitation in different Yemeni governorates.
