KSrelief Launches Noor Program to Fight Blindness in Djibouti

DJIBOUTI: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched the Noor Saudi Volunteer Program to fight blindness and its related diseases in Djibouti from December 8 to 14, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.

According to the SPA the project is held in collaboration with Al-Basar International Foundation.

KSrelief’s volunteer medical team during the campaign attended 675 cases, conducted 127 surgeries, and distributed 175 pairs of eyeglasses, the SPA maintained.

This health program stands as a significant component of KSrelief’s volunteer medical initiatives, part of Saudi Arabia’s humanitarian effort to bolster the medical sector and aid individuals affected by eye diseases across the world, the SPA further reported.
