KSrelief Presents Gift of 25 Tons of Dates to Philippines

MANILA: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has gifted 25 tons of dates to the Philippines, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.

Saudi Ambassador to the Philippines Hisham bin Sultan Al-Qahtani presented the gift on behalf of KSrelief to National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) Secretary Sabuddin N. Abdurahim.

Assistant Secretary Foreign Affairs Mardomel Celo D. Melicor, Assistant Secretary General Red Cross Ramon Murillo, and a team from KSrelief attended the ceremony at the Saudi embassy in Manila.

The donation is part of the ongoing programs launched by the Saudi government to help vulnerable families in various brotherly and friendly nations worldwide.
