KSrelief Provides Emergency Aid to 9,000 Flood Affected Families in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) has swiftly responded by distributing 9,000 Shelter and Non-Food Items (NFI) kits to support the urgent needs of the impacted communities in the aftermath of severe flooding caused by heavy rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Baluchistan provinces of Pakistan.

KSrelief

These relief kits, containing essential items such as shelters, solar panels, blankets, plastic mats, kitchen sets, water coolers, and antibacterial soap, have provided comprehensive support to 63,000 individuals. The aid has been crucial during this critical time, offering vital assistance to flood victims.

The relief has directly benefited people in five districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Upper Dir, Lower Chitral, Swat, Charsadda, D.I. Khan) and three districts of Baluchistan (Chaghi, Gwadar, Pishin).

This initiative was carried out in close collaboration with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and the respective provincial governments of KP and Balochistan, with the support of the Hayat Foundation.
