ISLAMABAD: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has recently completed its sponsorship of four medical camps in Pakistan as part of its continuous endeavors to treat blindness and eye diseases.

According to a press release here on Tuesday, camps organized in partnership with the Al-Basar International Foundation and Al-Ibrahim Eye Hospital Karachi, aimed to deliver advanced eye care to those lacking access to specialized treatment or facing financial constraints.

Strategically located across rural and urban areas of Sindh Province, these medical camps targeted regions with limited eye care services. Their main goal was to detect and address eye-related issues early, combating blindness and enhancing the quality of life for many.

During the program, more than 23,356 medical examinations and 1,656 surgeries were successfully performed. Additionally, 3,788 pairs of corrective glasses were distributed along with prescribed medications.

The program made sure that people not only received the care they needed but also had access to the eyewear they needed to improve their vision.
