KSrelief’s Masam Initiative Helps Clear 1,010 Mines in Yemen

ADEN, Yemen: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s (KSrelief) Masam Project, has helped to clear 1,010 mines in the third week of January 2024 in Yemen, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.

Under the project one anti-personnel mine, 117 anti-tank mines, 890 unexploded ordnance, and one explosive device were dismantled.

Since the beginning of the project, a total of 429,590 mines have been cleared.

Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, is committed to clear Yemen of all mines that have tragically resulted in the loss of lives and injuries to innocent children, women, and the elderly.
