KSrelief’s Masam Initiative Helps Clear 1,045 Mines in Yemen

ADEN, Yemen: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center’s (KSrelief) Masam initiative has helped to clear 1,045 mines in the second week of January in Yemen, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.

Under the project one anti-personnel mine, 118 anti-tank mines, 915 unexploded ordnance, and 11 explosive devices were dismantled.

Since the beginning of the project, a total of 428,579 mines have been cleared.

Saudi Arabia, through KSrelief, aims to clear Yemeni lands of all mines which have tragically caused death and injury to innocent children, women, and the elderly.
